The Chieftains

Official home page for this popular group that has been performing since the early 1960s. Includes photos, discography, and information on the musical instruments they play: the uilleann pipes, fiddle, bodhrán, and Irish wooden flute, along with harp, tiompán, and cor anglais.

An all-inclusive site with an Irish Studies section that has links to information on Irish music and dance, entertainment news, and Irish history and heritage.

Based in Dublin, this reference archive and resource center provides access to information on its extensive collections as well as online resources such as audio files of  vocal and instrumental music by Irish and Irish-American musicians, photographs and other images, and song and tune books.
